Folding paper fans

Over the past few days, I have had a lot of questions on how I made all those paper fans from our studio inspiration photo shoot.  Here is a mini DIY that I hope helps you make tons of paper fans for your next party!!!

In the photos above, I used a square piece of paper to make a small fan.  For larger fans, I went to my local paper store and bought poster sized color paper. Make sure you use text weight rather then cover. It makes life a lot easier when folding!!  When making the bigger fans, you only need 2 halfs  instead of three and longer folds.

When starting to fold, first fold your piece of paper in half. Fold again in half. This makes your folds even and easy to accordion

The best trick is using hot glue. Don't be afraid to use, it will hold everything together in the end!!

Enjoy!!
